BIPOC 1.0 LIVE Course:
We Need To Talk

This course was created by people of color for people of color to engage in transformative and healing conversations. 

Starting with the exploration of the social construct of race itself and ending with our need for intentional and consistent self-care, this course directs attention to any one of several factors that impact our understanding of race as it relates to ourselves, our communities, and our faith.

This 10-week course meets LIVE via Zoom beginning Friday, February 13, 2026, with weekly sessions from 6:00–8:00 PM ET.

Why Do We Need To Talk? 

We need to have some tough conversations about the way white supremacy has divided us. We must create brave spaces to discuss internalized racism, classism, colorism, and how we can find true healing. This is needed to center our experiences, define our role in the dismantling of white supremacy and encourage collective healing as BIPOC.

What Will I Learn?

We Need to Talk is a starting place for some of the essential conversations we must have with each other to unpack the ways we have been harmed and have harmed one another under the force of white supremacy.

Meet the instructorS

Tanya Rogers

Tanya Rogers is a BIPOC educator who has been working with Be the Bridge since 2017. She has a passion for racial justice and desires to participate in reconciliation, seeing it as part of her life's calling. Tanya enjoys helping people grow and reach their goals. When she's not working on racial justice or teaching, you can find her on her homestead gardening and enjoying her animals.

Pastor Dion Evans

Pastor Dion Evans serves as the pastor of Imago Dei Church in Suwanee, GA. Having accepted the call on his life at the age of 17, he has been serving in ministry all of his adult life. He has served in several ministry capacities at two of the most prominent churches in the Los Angeles area. It was in these places where he cut his teeth serving the community and putting faith to action loving God’s people. As a Los Angeles native, Dion now resides in Georgia with his amazing wife and 3 incredible children that make him proud to be a husband and father.
